On my website, CrockPotZone, I talk about many, many healthy crock pot recipes. Why? Because I love crock pots, and I also love finding new ways to better my diet. When making lists, such as the top 3 or 5 healthy crock pot recipes, or posts like this one naming the recipe of the week, you’d think that it would be difficult considering how many recipes there are on CrockPotZone, but it’s not. How I choose the top recipes is based off of how easy it is for the average person to create, how much time it takes to prepare, and how tasty it is. So, with that being said, below is the Healthy Crock Pot Recipe of the Week.
Is it easy to prepare?
If you can make instant oatmeal, you can make crock pot oatmeal. Instant oatmeal consists of combining the oats and liquid and warming in a microwave or stovetop. Crock pot oatmeal consists of combining the oats, ingredients, and liquid and cooking in your crock pot, overnight.
Is It Tasty?
This cinnamon apple oatmeal is one of the tastiest oatmeals I have ever tasted. The best part is that it’s good for you. You don’t have to feel guilty about starting your day off on the wrong foot by eating this oatmeal.
How much time does it take?
It takes only a few minutes to prepare this. Once you combine the ingredients, you can go to bed while letting this cook on low for 7-8 hours.
My imaginary healthy crock pot recipe rating for this oatmeal recipe is a 5/5.
